To University Staff and Students,
As a result of the security tension and recent rocket firing from the Gaza Strip into Israel, the BGU Security Department seeks to refresh the instructions how to behave when a siren sounds.
Based on the homefront command instructions for the city of Beer Sheva we are currently in the situation of emergency routine: the safe areas on the campus in Beer sheva and in the dorms will be opened.
Readiness and proper preparation in advance will lead to efficient and successful response in times of emergency
As of now, there is no concrete information about firing towards the city, but readiness and proper preparation
in advance will lead to an efficient and successful confrontation in times of emergency.
