This special, experiential book is designed to accompany the shared journey of bat mitzva girls and their mothers during the bat mitzva year . The book is divided into 12 chapters, each of which includes study pages, activities, stories, and thought-provoking essays for mothers, all from the heart. Each chapter is dedicated to a different topic, for example, Chesed, Gratitude, Beauty & Modesty, Shabbat, Prayer and more.
The book is dedicated to the memory of Hallel Yaffa Ariel Hy”d, who enjoyed a wonderful and meaningful bat mitzva year with her family and friends.

The book begins with a Comics section geared to bat mitzva-aged girls. This section introduces the reader to the unique personality of Hallel Yaffa Ariel Hy”d – her character traits, favorite activities, and some of the challenges she faced.
We hope that the Comics will help girls internalize the story and better connect with their inner selves.

The book was written by two sisters, Tziporah Piltz and Rena Ariel, who have both celebrated the bat mitzvas of their daughters and felt that they lacked a basic book to accompany this important milestone.
Tziporah, the mother of a large family, lives in Har Hazeitim in Jerusalem and lectures about the Beit Hamikdash to young girls and women.
Rena, Hallel’s mother, lives in Kiryat Arba and is a social worker by profession.
The combination of their knowledge and personal experiences formed the basis for the book.
