Following the prior messages, we would like to provide you with a number of important updates:

  • Reserve duty
Upon completion of your service, you will receive the military’s 3010 form.
For Weizmann employees: Submit the 3010 form to your assigned salary accountment. Reservists will have their salaries paid without interruption.
For Feinberg Graduate School students: Submit the form to Dana Yanay and record the hours you were away on reserve duty hours in the computer system. Student stipends will be paid without interruption.

  • Subsidized meals
Even in these difficult times, members of the Weizmann community are entitled to discounts on meals at a variety of off-campus restaurants via the Cebus app, based on eligibility. Up to 15 shekels per meal will be subsidized if the user purchases a minimum of 10 shekels worth of meals a day via the app. The discount is available Sunday-Thursday from 8:00-17:00.

  • Activities for children of Weizmann Institute employees
The Davidson Institute of Science Education is offering science enrichment activities to the children of WIS employees.
The next activity is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, at 17:00.
The activity is FREE and will offer children (and accompanying adults) a glimpse into the scientific secrets in the magical world of Harry Potter – how to mix “magic potions,” how to cook “enchanted food,” and how to fight evil creatures.
